Anchor Plates are used mainly for the installation of EIFS. They are used to attach EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) foam board to plywood, OSB, and other approved substrates. Anchor Plates contain a galvanized steel screw and a two–inch plastic stop washer, which provides strong resistance to positive and negative wind loads. Plastic closures on the top of the recessed channel prevent moisture from passing through, bleeding of basecoat, and thermal bridging, as well as protecting the screw head for a flush surface.
